The Prospect Park Boathouse is a classic Brooklyn, NY wedding venue. The location on the Lullwater is incomparable and is a spot your guests will surely never forget. I loved seeing guests idling on the lake’s edge to admire the Lullwater bridge in between sips of wine.

Ray & Gwen are dear friends and I’m so honored to have photographed their wedding day. My husband and I even got to dance a bit after the documenting was complete. Thank you both for including me on such a magical day.

Prospect Park Wedding Cost

According to Here Comes the Guide, Prospect Park Boathouse will cost between $3,500 – $7,000 per event. There are surcharges for holidays like New Year’s Eve and Christmas. Compared to other NYC wedding venues, this is very reasonable especially with it being a historical landmark.

Usually, the highest costs for a wedding are the venue and photographer. Next being catering, attire, florals, band, and lodging. Of course, you can spend more or less depending on your priorities.
